PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI SISTEM PEMANTAUAN PEMBUANGAN SAMPAH BERBASIS NEXT.JS

The increasing amount of waste in urban areas demands an efficient and data-driven management system. This study aims to develop a web-based waste disposal monitoring system using the Next.js framework with an interactive and responsive user interface (UI/UX) development approach. The system is designed to display waste disposal data through graphical visualizations and location maps to facilitate monitoring and decision-making by managers.The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a quantitative approach. The system implementation includes frontend development using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, along with Firebase integration for authentication and data storage. Evaluation was conducted
through functionality testing using the Blackbox method and usability testing employing the Think-Aloud Protocol and Likert-scale questionnaires. The testing results showed that all system features functioned as expected (100% success rate), and the usability evaluation yielded an average score of 4.47 out of 5, indicating that the system is easy to use, clearly presented, and well-received by users. This system is considered feasible for use in digital waste disposal monitoring as it meets functionality, usability, and visual clarity aspects. It is expected to support more effective and efficient waste management by providing understandable visual data.
